Los Langeros – This Is Normal

Los Langeros hail from the depths of Cork’s hispanic quarter and have been honing their craft there for the last two years.

A screeching electric mandolin flanked by two guitar wielding madmen with Jews harps and harmonicas backed up by a ferocious pounding rhythm section thrash out some of the most intense country music ever heard. The sound is a punkabilly ska-tinged fusion of screamalong choruses and distorted 12 string melodies guaranteed to bring any audience to a wild frenzy.

Los Langeros have released 3 CDs independently and gigged consistently both at home and in the UK, playing with bands such as Ten Past Seven, Rest, Giveamanakick, Stanley Super 800 and Rulers of the Planet. They regularly sell out shows in Cork and have won over unsuspecting audiences at festivals such as Spraoi in Waterford and Electric Picnic in Stradbally.

They are currently promoting their new CD entitled ‘Killing Frogs.’
